Lupane Basket

The basket has a raised edge of approximately 5/6 cm and is therefore very nice to use as a tray or to style on the table with mugs or a beautiful flower vase on top.
But also very nice as a decoration item in the bathroom with guest towels on it or as a real eye-catcher on the wall.

The baskets look great in both a modern and a rustic interior.

The Lupane baskets are handwoven from Ilala palm leaves in the Lupane district of Zimbabwe.

Traditionally, locals used these baskets in the villages to collect grain.

Please note! The baskets are made by hand from Palmleaf, this is a natural material and this means that each product is 100% unique and may have minor imperfections. But it is precisely these small imperfections that give the basket its charm.
