Moroccan flat basket

This flat basket with leather ears from Morocco is very decorative. The baskets are made from sea grass from the vicinity of the fishing village of Essaouira. These are hand-braided in a traditional way by the fishermen living there, originally also made for fishing, but in fact they can be used to store everything.
